10 OF THE MOST FAMOUS AND INSTAGRAM-ABLE COFFEE SHOP IN SALATIGA

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to my blog, where I share with you my passion for coffee and travel. In this blog, I'm going to take you to Salatiga, a charming city in Central Java, Indonesia, where I visted 10 of the most famous and Instagram-able coffee shops. Salatiga is known for its cool climate, beautiful scenery, and rich culture. It's also a great place to enjoy some of the best coffee in the country.

So, without further ado, let's get started!

1. PINOG COFFEE

The first coffee shop that I visited was Pinog Coffee, which was established in 2016. This cafe has a cozy and minimalist interior, with wooden furniture and green plants.

They serve various kinds of coffee, from espresso to manual brew, as well as tea, juice, and smoothies. I ordered a cappuccino and a slice of banana cake, and they were both delicious. The coffee was smooth and creamy, and the cake was moist and fluffy.

I also liked the friendly and attentive service from the staff.

2. CLEVERLY EATERY

The second coffee shop that I went to was Cleverly Eatery, which is located on the second floor of a building. This cafe has a stunning view of the city and the mountains, especially during sunset.

They offer a variety of coffee, tea, and food, such as pasta, pizza, burgers, and salads. I tried their signature Cleverly Coffee, which was a cold brew coffee with milk and caramel.

It was refreshing and sweet, and I enjoyed it with a plate of chicken wings. The cafe also has a spacious and comfortable seating area, with sofas, bean bags, and tables.

3. BUMI KAYOM

The third coffee shop that I checked out was Bumi Kayom, which is a part of  Arun Daya Resto, a resort and restaurant. This cafe is surrounded by nature, with a beautiful garden and a pond.

They specialize in organic coffee, tea, and food, using ingredients from their own farm. I had a cup of their house blend coffee, which was a medium roast with a fruity and nutty flavor. I also had a bowl of their organic salad, which was fresh and crunchy.

The cafe has a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city.

4. MOMENT SENJA

The fourth coffee shop that I visited was Moment Senja, which is a rooftop cafe with a panoramic view of the city. This cafe has a modern and chic design, with colorful lights and decorations.

They serve a variety of coffee, tea, and snacks, such as fries, nuggets, and sandwiches. I ordered a latte and a cheese toast, and they were both satisfying. The latte was smooth and milky, and the toast was crispy and cheesy.

The cafe also has a live music performance every night, creating a lively and fun vibe.

5. NARUNA

The fifth coffee shop that I went to was Naruna, which is a cozy and homey cafe with a vintage style. This cafe has a lot of antique and unique items, such as books, cameras, and typewriters.

They offer a range of coffee, tea, and desserts, such as cakes, pies, and ice cream. I tried their mocha and their apple pie, and they were both amazing. The mocha was rich and chocolatey, and the apple pie was warm and flaky.

The cafe also has a friendly and helpful staff, who gave me some recommendations and tips.

6. KAFEOLE

The sixth coffee shop that I checked out was Kafeole, which is a family-friendly and casual cafe with a rustic style. This cafe has a lot of wooden and metal elements, giving it a warm and industrial look. They serve a variety of coffee, tea, and food, such as noodles, rice, and soup. I had a black coffee and a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and they were both tasty. The coffee was strong and aromatic, and the soup was hearty and flavorful.

The cafe also has a cold beer and sometimes has live music events.

7. VOLKA MOKA

The seventh coffee shop that I visited was Volka Moka, which is a small and simple cafe with a minimalist style. This cafe has a white and black theme, with a few plants and posters.

They specialize in manual brew coffee, using beans from different regions and roasters. I ordered a V60 pour over coffee, using beans from Aceh Gayo. It was a light roast with a floral and citrusy taste. I also had a slice of their chocolate cake, which was moist and decadent.

The cafe has a quiet and intimate atmosphere, ideal for working or studying.

8. RELAKSO COFFEE

The eighth coffee shop that I went to was Relakso Coffee, which is a unique coffee shop that also serves as a co-working space. This cafe has a colorful and creative interior, with a lot of art and graffiti.

They offer a range of coffee, tea, and food, such as burgers, wraps, and salads. I tried their iced coffee and their chicken wrap, and they were both great. The iced coffee was refreshing and smooth, and the chicken wrap was spicy and filling.

The cafe also has a fast and free Wi-Fi, as well as a printer and a scanner.

9. STASIUN SUSU SALATIGA

The ninth coffee shop that I checked out was Stasiun Susu Salatiga, which is a milk station that also serves coffee and tea. This cafe has a cute and playful interior, with a lot of cow and milk motifs.

They have a variety of milk flavors, such as chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and durian. I had a glass of their original fresh milk, which was creamy and sweet. I also had a cup of their espresso, which was a nice contrast to the milk.

The cafe has a fun and cheerful atmosphere, suitable for kids and adults alike.

10. KOPI WOLU SALATIGA

The tenth and final coffee shop that I visited was Kopi Wolu Salatiga, which is a traditional coffee shop that also sells coffee beans and equipment. This cafe has a simple and authentic interior, with a lot of wooden and bamboo furniture.

They serve coffee in a traditional way, using a clay pot and a cloth filter. I had a cup of their tubruk coffee, which was a coarse ground coffee with hot water. It was a dark roast with a robust and earthy flavor. I also bought some of their coffee beans, which were freshly roasted and packed.

So, that's it for my coffee adventure in Salatiga. I hope you enjoyed this story and found it helpful.

Ramadhan di Balikpapan

Ramadhan telah tiba. Sejak menginjakan kaki di airport Sepinggan enam bulan yang lalu, wekker- ku seolah-olah berputar sangat cepat.  Tiba-tiba saja..,. ujug-ujug sudah memasuki bulan Ramadhan. Ngerti-ngerti wes poso. Puasa tahun pertama di Balikpapan... ........... ☘️......... Ahmad Yani Airport. Akhir September 2023. Flight- ku masih satu jam lagi. Setengah mengantuk aku menuju ke toilet bandara. Cuci muka.. .................. Terasa sangat berbeda. Di sana-sini interiorrnya masih under construction . Koridor dari tempat check-in menuju ruang tunggu penumpang masih polos. Bersih. Membosankan.   Hanya saja, yen ora keliru , waktu itu lukisan raksasa kary

Kamarintah, Republiken, Kamardikan dan Sego Godog..

Sekitar tahun 80-an hingga awal 90-an sebuah gerobak kecil mangkal di seberang jalan Rumah Sakit Tentara Dokter Asmir Salatiga.

Aku menutup tablet. Bersiap untuk turun.  Aku menengok keluar jendela. I see..... Home.  ......... Sepinggan Airport. Seorang laki-laki Dayak larut dalam tarian. Kaki bergerak berirama, menyapu bumi. Tangan meliuk bagaikan kepakan sayap. Melayang-melayang dalam kedamaian. Mencipta gerakan penuh rasa, menyatu dalam notasi keindahan Sape. Simple is beauty. Living in harmony . Nature is mother of culture. Alam memberikan kehidupan. Alam menerima kehidupan. Hubungan kausalitas dalam keseimbangan. ..... Dimanapun kita berada, itu adalah rumah kita.  Ketika pesawat take off pukul 18.50 WITA. Meninggalkan Sepinggan.

Arsitekturnya cukup unik.  Luas dan asri. Itu adalah rumahnya Pak Arief Budiman dan Bu Leila Ch. Budiman...   The house is located in Kemiri Village, Kemiri Candi street, at the foot of Mount Merbabu.  It was built in 1985, after Arief Budiman returned from his doctoral studies at Harvard University. He choose Salatiga as his home because he felt alienated and disappointed by the rapid development and social in justice in Jakarta.  He wanted to live in a more peaceful and natural environment, where he could pursue his academic and artistic intere

Sebuah perkebunan kopi. Berangka tahun 1938.  .,........ Sugih tanpa Banda

Aku mau cerita dikit mengenai syair atau lirik lagu "Sugih Tanpa Banda". Ayok kita ngoceh ngalor ngidul lagi....sinambi ngopi karo nyawang lintang ngalih..  ..................

Negeri Para Ksatria Bra Tara

" Ada sebuah cerita negeri timur raya. Alamnya indah,  penduduknya ramah. Berbagai suku bangsa dan budayanya. Mereka menyebutnya Nusantara. Membentang bagai permata di khatulistiwa. Hijau hutannya, biru lautnya. Berlambang burung Garuda, tersemat di dada. Bhineka Tinggal Ika-lah jiwanya....." Nuswa artnya pulau tempat tinggal. Anta artinya laki-laki kesatria. Tara  artinya mulia.  So....
